Shipping & Returns
Shipping Policy
Free, FedEx Ground or Economy tracked shipping is offered on orders over $150CAD within Canada. We will ship with the most economical option.
Canada Post is currently in the midst of rolling strikes which creates some delays and unpredictability for shipments.
In the meantime, we are pleased to offer FedEx Ground and Express services to ensure timely and dependable delivery. We're also absorbing additional shipping costs to help reduce expenses for our customers during this period.
Express shipping services are offered at checkout for all orders and are calculated based on order items.
For orders totalling less than $150 CAD -Shipping prices are calculated at checkout. A flat rate fee of $15CAD is offered.
For international orders (Outside of Canada) - Shipping prices are calculated at checkout.
As of August 29th 2025
Due to new import policies set in place by the U.S. Government we are not currently offering shipping to the U.S.
Time Frames
Orders dispatch every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Cut off for next day dispatch is 12PM (i.e. Wednesday 12PM to dispatch on Thursday). Orders do not ship over the weekend.
Orders placed after 12PM on Friday and over the weekend are a priority come Tuesday and we see to getting those orders shipped as soon as possible.
Import Duties
International Customers: Sole Freedom ships international products Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU). Please use an online Import Duties and Taxes calculator to find out how much your purchase will incur. Sole Freedom does not refund duties, taxes, or any other extra fees which your local customs authority deem appropriate. Please contact your local customs office to issue a refund for these fees.
Return/Exchange policy
Sole Freedom will accept returns and exchanges under the following circumstances:
- The return is initiated within 30 days of purchase date
- The exchange is initiated within 45 days of the purchase date
- Item is in new condition (no dirt, smell, or sign of outdoor wear)
Any footwear marked "Sale" is considered to be permanently marked down and will be final sale. Returns will only be accepted for a refund of store credit. In cases where shipping is involved, the total cost of shipping will be deducted from the refund total.
Once the goods have been received and inspected, returns are expected to be processed within 24-48 hours.

Canadian customers can generate their own return or exchange from the link in the header above. Please note there is a $15 flat rate fee for returns which will be deducted from the refund. We are happy to offer 1 free exchange for those looking to change sizes or changing to a different item with equal or greater value.
Refunds
Items accepted for return will receive a full refund of the purchase price. In cases where the return shipment was created from our return portal, a $15 flat rate fee will be deducted from the refund. We meet you halfway on shipping costs: we cover the cost of shipping the item to you, and you cover the cost of returning it to us. Customers have the option of shipping back their returns by way of their own shipping methods if they so choose. In these cases a full refund of the purchase price is offered without any deductions.
Once your return is processed, please allow 3–5 business days for the refund to appear in your account. Processing times may vary depending on your bank.
Exchanges
We’re happy to offer a one-time exchange at no additional cost for regularly priced items, provided they are exchanged for items of equal or greater value. You can create your own exchange from the link below. The capabilities of this system are limited to exchanging for the same product in a different size or colour only. To exchange for something entirely different, please contact us by email at hello@solefreedom.ca or give us a call. Our team will be happy to assist you and ensure a smooth exchange process.
Any returns that cross the Canadian border must have proper documentation stating that "the package is a return of goods to Canada" and please declare $0 value on the shipment. Otherwise we are subject to an import tariff and or brokerage fee to receive them back. In this case any fees will be deducted from the refund of the original purchase.
